The CooKit consists of a simple sheet of cardboard, covered by a layer of aluminum, and cut according to the following plan :

Two slits have been made into the panel, in which the corners of the two lateral panels are inserted. This forms a sort of open shell.  A black aluminum kettle, wrapped in a transparent, heat-resistant plastic sack, (or placed in a glass bowl so that there is a layer of air between the kettle and the bowl- see the HotPot at www.she-inc.org) is placed in the heart of the shell where the sun's rays are concentrated.
